Metatron Records Announces the Re-Release of Judgment Day, the Musical
Apocalypse Rock Opera With New Material Available Immediately On All Music Streaming Services
San Francisco, September 10, 2025 – Today, Metatron Records announced the re-release of Judgment Day, the Musical – the concept album for Tony Parisi’s original apocalypse rock opera. This re-release contains the new song Leap of Faith, a duet between the lead characters Thomas and Maggie, performed by Parisi and Tia Simone, and a new version of the iconic track Peace on Earth featuring Parisi and Mela Bee. The updated version reflects the most current material from the show and is an important milestone as the musical moves into its development phase.
From the Blockchain to Broadway
Judgment Day is an epic tale about love, loss, faith, reason, and the end of the world; a love story told against a backdrop of geopolitical turmoil and constant crisis culminating in a cosmic battle between good and evil. In 2023 Tony and international artist Marina Berlin released a set of NFTs that contain songs from the musical plus stunning artwork, styled as an oracle card deck. The deck provides collectors with a divinatory lens into the past, present, and the challenging times ahead, based on the musical’s characters, storyline and spiritual themes. Premier holders of Judgment Day NFTs will receive premium utility in the form of downloads of the complete digital album, vinyl editions, physical merchandise, theater tickets and access to live workshops.
Metatron is using funds generated from sales of the NFT to develop the live theater show, including a development workshop held in partnership with Double Eye Studios. As a direct result of that workshop, Parisi has revised the book and written two new songs for the show, including Leap of Faith, which is featured in today’s album re-release.
Metatron is continuing to advance the production of a live action version of Judgment Day for the stage. “In my mind, Judgment Day has always been as a 360 project, including live theater, digital collectibles, an online community and virtual world, and a streamed version of the show for TV. We are well on the way,” said Parisi. The album re-release is another milestone toward realizing the full vision of the show.
